Connection Church - BEING the Church

In addition to our Lead Team, Connection Church is blessed with a gifted volunteer Support Team that helps the congregation in key areas while serving a vital role of extra perspective and communication to the lead team. Here's a brief glimpse at these rather amazing people.
	JoAnn Fenwick - Teen Connection We can't think of a better person to connect with teenagers than one who already loves them. JoAnn Fenwick is just that person, able to come along side of any student and help him/her take a step forward with Jesus Christ. She and her husband Jerry share their home and life with teens, whether it's a planned Teen Connection gathering or the pop in of youth who know they're welcome. Maybe it's because she plays a rather intense game of Corn Hole... or maybe it's because they see in her the real deal.

	*Mike Rhodes - Tween Connection* As far as kids in 5th-6th grade are concerned, there's something magnetic about Mike Rhodes. His down-to-earth style of presenting the Bible is so interactive that it becomes digestive, which perhaps is why they keep coming back for more. While he wears a painter's hat by day and cares for his wife and baby daughter by night, Mike's brain is always working in connection with his prayer life. So be prepared for a ministry to tweens that is more than books and worksheets... its about creative relational investments fueled by a love for God and youth.

Obviously, these folks are on a journey with God... just like you. The cool thing is they'd love to help you get to know Him better. He is the One who gave some the gift to be apostles. He gave some the gift to be prophets. He gave some the gift of preaching the good news. And He gave some the gift to be pastors and teachers. He did it so that they might prepare God's people to serve. If they do, the body of Christ will be built up. That will continue until we all become one in the faith and in the knowledge of God's Son. Then we will be grown up in the faith. We will receive everything that Christ has for us. (Ephesians 4:11-13, NIRV)
