Judy Auman

Judy AumanI guess my story would start that I was raised in a Christian home.

My mother took me to Sunday School and Church every Sunday. I continued to go to Church pretty regularly until May of 1999 when my husband of almost 10 years was taken from me.

I was so MAD at God for taken him and I kept saying of all the BAD husbands in the world why did you have to take my GOOD ONE.

But I didn't know what God had in store for me... I found out he wasn't done with me yet.

In 2001 I met a widower and we fell in love and were married in 2002. We looked for a Church off and on for the next 4 years, never really finding one that we felt comfortable in.

But the Lord had plans for us... oh yes He did.

We bought a beautiful home in Medina in 2003 and in January of 2007 we got new neighbors. Little did we know what an impact they would have on our lives.

We started to come to Connection Church the last Sunday in January 2007. Never have I been in a more friendlier Church and it felt like home from the first Sunday we came.

I felt that I was ready to let God do something with my life.

I feel like a new person! I am able to talk about God and the Church... I wanted so much to be a part of Connection Church that I Checked the box to be a greeter, and in April I did become a greeter for the first time.

I have had such a great time meeting new friends. This Church and the people have become such a great part of my life. I feel like a new creature.

God has taken hold of my life and led me in a different path and He now is my Lord and Savior. I pray more than I ever did and believe it or not he has answered a couple of my requests.

Thanks to God who put Tony and Katie in my path and bought me back into the fold. There are so many people in the Church that are so special to me that I cannot list them all because I might miss someone, but I thank you Lord everyday for bringing these special people in my life!
