At first this story may seem negative to the reader, but I assure you it is one of hope and faith in Christ.

On Oct. 3rd 1999, my husband Wayne and I accepted Christ as our Savior. We had been attending a church for about a year beforehand, here in Medina. In the 6 years we attended, our faith grew strong, many friends were made, and relationships with others in the church grew.  Unfortunately, because of sin in the church, things went very wrong. Relationships were broken, lives shattered, and trust in our church was gone.

Only by Gods grace, were Wayne and I spared a lot of the pain, but we ached for what had been, and would never be again. I used to say,"I don't care if we go to church in a tent" I just want to worship God.

God was listening.

He got our attention with the signs that were posted by Connection all over Medina a couple years back saying, "are you living your dream"? Wayne and I were curious, so we attended Connection Church. That was 2 years ago and in those years God has been revealing to me that this church, which meets in a movie theater, is my "tent" to worship Him in!!! (long story short,ha!ha!)

My life verse says it this way: I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which Christ has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14) It doesn't matter where you worship God, but that you worship God. Don't keep your eyes forward, but heavenward, focused on God. Whether in a church, tent, or movie theater, God is there to be worshipped and glorified!!

I no longer see a church, I carry church in my heart.

Thank You God for giving me back my hope, and my "tent" in Connection Church.
