Imagine cutting a single rose off a rose bush and sticking it in a vase of water. Its form is beautiful and its scent exhilarating, but in reality it is dying because it is cut off from its source of life. You could give it
the best food in the world,
but in a few days it will be dead.

Just like the rose, people are cut off from God as their true Life Source. Because we can seem to bloom in our own power at times, we fool ourselves into thinking that we're just fine in our own glass of water.
In reality, our sin has separated us from God... and we're dying.

What would it take for us to realize this lie? Might not God need to enter our world so we could reenter His? The Good News is He has, and does.
