Out of His love for us, God made us with the ability to choose. In order for this to truly be freewill, there had to be the possibility of a bad choice. Because God is good, though, He warned us so we wouldn't find our worth in anything other than Him.

But we believed the lie of a snake who seemed to be on our side, just as he tries to seem today. Then... our adultery broke the world.

So we hid - us, not God. And we got so used to hiding behind things that we still do this today. Even though coming out of the leaves would be a good idea, the fear of nakedness and shame paralyze us... another lie.

Yet in our darkest moment... Hope.
