"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.
We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came
from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)
When the time was right, the Hero mysteriously
became flesh. Fully human and fully divine, He lived among us so that we might forever live with Him. Yet many in His day rejected Him and killed His body through a cruel cross.
Nonetheless, the time had come...
so the Hero overcame even death.
God provided the once-and-for-all way for you to reconnect with Him. The old way of insecurity before the Lord and with ourselves is to be no more... the new relationship is one of assurance. It is a gift that we're to receive - nothing we could ever earn. But it means that we receive Jesus as Lord/Savior and turn away from our sin and sinful habits.
How do you respond to that today?
