Change is certain...
but not always easy.

Often we feel the "shoes" God wants us to wear are a bit awkward, and yet He knows we will grow to fill them if we just hang in there.

When David assumes the throne of Israel, some of its people seem divided. While some rejoice that the instability of Saul (the last King) is no more, others remain Saul's loyalists even after his death and resist David's authority. This change seems as though it will tear the kingdom apart... and in many ways it does.
