You are on a journey with God and have a step to take with Him - whether it's your first, fiftieth, or five-thousandth. At times you'll know what that step is, and other times you'll need another person (who is also on a journey with Jesus) to speak into your life. We do our best to give and receive that from one another, recognizing we're all each moving forward with God in different ways.

This is why we say, "Come as you are, and be loved forward into a deeper connection with God." In other words, "be yourself" and "become yourself" - the true you that the Lord made you to be. That's a journey we're all on and need each other for every day.
