Statements of faith can serve you in several ways, but they can also convey a bit of arrogance. In some ways when they are exhaustive it seems as though it's one way of saying, "Here are all the things we're right about." Ever felt that from someone who believed differently than you did theologically? Sometimes that shuts down conversation... not good.

While we do stand firm on the things you are about to read, we want you to know that our spirit is one of learning. In other words, this is our best swing at what we see in the Holy Scriptures. Our big push is for balance of truth in all things, which you can read more about here.

Ultimately, the absolute best way to understand and learn about any community's theology is to experience it on the relational level.
