Infant / Child Dedication
Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them,

Several times throughout the year
we invite parents to participate in a
child dedication service, a sacred
celebration
of their new little one. During a
Sunday gathering, they declare before God and His church their intention to raise their child to know, love, and trust in Jesus Christ. It is also an opportunity for our congregation to affirm its part, too, of praying for and assisting the family in this task.

All throughout the Bible,
we find many parents dedicating their children to God for various reasons. Even Mary and Joseph brought the infant Jesus to the Temple in Jerusalem "to present Him to the Lord."
In this spirit, we also affirm that every child's life deserves to start in the direction of the Lord. Accordingly, we walk through a covenant together so that the family and the church are on the same page with what this means.
We also will offer workshops, sermons, and groups throughout the year to continue resourcing the family
in this adventure.
