Half and Half creates a way for those with needs to get connected with those
who can
help meet those needs. In the economy we live in, everyone is looking to either save a buck
or make a buck, and this strategy helps church members do both.
Maybe you own a business or have a set of skills, and you would be willing to share
your
professional services for half
the cost of what you normally charge in order
to
empower others in the church who
couldn't normally afford what you do.
Or on the other side, what if you were going to spend money on a service
and chose to support someone who is operating with Christ-honoring integrity
in how they do business
with your
patronage? In this way, both parties "win"
and everyone is freed up a bit financially to become even more generous
toward what God has asked of us as His Church.
The list that follows is simply information for you to make your own arrangements.
Connection Church bears no responsibility in any agreements you make with someone,
be it an exchange of finances, goods, or services.
In many cases we've seen
people trade their skills to maximize the savings further. Maybe you're a single mom
who doesn’t know how to teach her son to throw a baseball but can cook up a sweet stew.
What about an elderly person who needs a ride to the doctor but can tutor
someone in need of math skills? Perhaps a young couple would love advice on saving
for a home but would happily help another polishing up his résumé.
There are countless needs and skills out there that can now be met.
To the right is our current list of skills available. If you are a part of Connection Church and would like to have yours added to the list or need help getting in touch with one of the people listed below please contact us or use the following form.
