The ONE / TWO Reading Plan (28 Days)
There is a powerful example that the early church left for us in Chapters ONE and TWO of the book of Acts. Instead of coasting on the excitement of the moment, they chose to walk in step with God. Is there something in there for us as the people of God in this day and age? If so, what might that be?

how to DIG into the Bible...
Use this approach to get the most out of your time in God's Word. Maximize it by using a small notebook as a journal, writing the initials D-I-G in it and your responses to what each represents.
DIG - D Dialogue: Open your Bible and begin reading a small portion (perhaps using a reading plan). If you can, identify any of the original context of who it was first written to and why. Ask God what He is revealing to you in the passage, and then write down your first impression of it - including both thoughts and questions.
DIG - I Insights: Personalize what you've read by writing down what the eternal principles are (things that are true for all people in all times and places). Then add how it applies to your life at this moment - a short idea, a meaty lesson, a word of encouragement, a promise to claim, or correction for an area of your life.
DIG - G God: Write out a prayer that helps you engage God. Thank Him for the Words of this passage, and then ask Him for insight on what He's shown you Then spend time quietly listening for His lead, writing down any action steps you sense you should take.

Do not grow weary in reading, for od delights in strengthening and prospering those who take him at his Word. So keep at it!
