We are a Bible-based, Christ-centered church with an interdenominational focus.
That means everything we do is based in the Bible.
And we center our conversations through a relationship with Christ.
And our hope is to serve people from all backgrounds (including those who haven't yet discovered that God exists and is already a part of their lives).
As one Christian from history put it,
"In essential beliefs, unity. In non-essential beliefs, liberty.
In all our beliefs, love."
We believe the following statements reflect a core summary of the central doctrines in the Bible, which are also presented in the historic creeds of the Christian church. |

The Bible
The Bible is God's unique communication tool for people.God inspired people to record His words in written form. Because it is given to us by God, it establishes absolute truth and serves as the supreme instruction book for life. It is the infallible and final authority on all matters upon which it teaches, a status that no other writings can claim.

God
There is only one God. He is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe. He exists in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each one is fully God yet remains personally distinct from the others.

Jesus
Jesus is the Son of God, and yet is coequal with the Father and Holy Spirit. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born to a virgin, lived a sinless human life, and willingly offered Himself as the complete sacrifice for the sins of the world. He physically died and physically arose from the dead. He is now in Heaven serving as each believer's advocate and mediator with the Father. One day He will return to earth for His church, taking reign as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is coequal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world and in the lives of believers in order to make people aware of their need for salvation. From the moment one trusts Jesus Christ for salvation, the Holy Spirit lives inside the believer. He gives each believer spiritual gifts and provides them with the power, the understanding, and the guidance needed for living a life that is pleasing to God.

People
All people were created in God's image. People are separated from God because of sin and remain separated because of unbelief. Central to the message of the Bible is that God loves people in spite of their sin and invites them into a personal relationship with Himself through Jesus.

Salvation
Apart from Jesus Christ all people are spiritually lost and, because of sin, deserve the judgment of God. However, God gives salvation and eternal life to anyone who turns from their unbelief and places their faith in Jesus Christ and in His sacrifice on their behalf. Salvation cannot be earned through personal goodness or human effort. It is a gift that is received only when one stops trusting in anything/anyone but Christ alone and places faith in His complete payment on the cross for their sin.

Eternity
Death seals the eternal destiny of each person. Unbelievers are separated from God and, at the last judgment, forever condemned. Believers are welcomed into God's loving presence and rewarded for their faithfulness to Him in this life.

Security
When one freely chooses to receive God's gift of salvation—through faith in Jesus Christ—that person's eternal destiny in heaven is sealed by the power and grace of God. Although a willful renouncing of personal sin takes place, salvation is not maintained by the self-effort of the believer. Our security lies in the fact that God, in His infinite love, will never choose to remove Himself from us. Still, as freely as we choose to accept God's gift of salvation, we may also choose to reject it even after receiving it.

The Church
All believers are members of the family of God, also called the Body of Christ; this is the one true universal church. This spiritual union crosses all ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic, generational, gender, and denominational lines. The local church is made up of a congregation of believers who meet for worship, prayer, instruction, encouragement, mutual accountability, and fellowship with each other. Within it, believers use their God-given gifts and passions, and invest their time, energy, and resources, to help people connect with God and with others.

In summary...
God loves you right where you are at,
but He loves you too much to let you stay that way.
So come as you are,
and be loved your next step forward in your faith.
As another Christian from history once said it,
"Jesus loves me, this I know for the Bible tells me so. "
